The tournament will be conducted through preliminary rounds, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final stage.
-
In the preliminary stage, the player who wins 2 frames (sets) advances to the next round. (No declaration is required at this stage.)
-
In the quarter-finals and semi-finals, the player who wins 3 frames (sets) advances.
-
In the final match, the player who wins 5 frames (sets) will be the champion. (Declaration will be mandatory in these rounds.)
-
The fixture will be announced once the participants are finalized.
-
Participation is limited.
Basic Rules
-
When a foul is committed, the opponent may place the cue ball anywhere on the table to continue the game.
-
If any ball (except the cue ball) leaves the table, it is considered a foul. The ball is placed in a pocket, and play continues according to foul rules.
-
Players must declare the ball and the pocket they aim for (This rule does not apply in the preliminary stage). If a different ball is pocketed or the declared ball goes into the wrong pocket, it is not considered a foul, but the opponent takes over.
-
If the final black ball is pocketed in the wrong pocket, or the declared pocket is missed, that set is lost.
-
The player who breaks will be determined by a lag shot.
-
Spectators and opponents are expected to avoid loud or distracting behavior during gameplay.
-
A player does not claim a ball type (striped/solid) until a declared ball is successfully pocketed. Until then, both players are free to target any type.
-
After a legal shot, the cue ball must hit one of the player's designated balls (or the black ball if that's the only remaining one), and any ball must either contact a cushion or be pocketed. Otherwise, it's a foul.
-
Players must maintain contact with the floor during shots. Otherwise, it's a foul.
-
Any non-shot-related contact with balls (e.g., hitting with hand, cue, clothing, or body) is a foul. However, accidental contact with the cue ball while placing it after a foul is not considered a foul.
-
For unaddressed situations, the table referee's decision will be final.
