Table Tennis Tournament Will Starts

Dear Students;

Our students who want to participate the OzU Table Tennis Tournament, which will be held at the sports center between March 2nd and 3rd; can make their application from the link below.

The competition fixture will be sent to you on March 1 by e-mail.

The tournament is covered by Sec 101.

Table Tennis Competation Rules

• Games will be played as singles and by single elimination style.
• The player who wins two sets is the winner of the game.
• The semifinal and Final games will be played by five games, who wins three sets will be the winner of the game.
• Players are advised to bring their own rackets. The Athletic Center will provide the necessary sport to players without rackets. Balls will be provided by the Athletic Center.
• Games will be played on two (2) separate tables in the Student Center and will be officiated by umpires.
• Sportswear and shoes are recommended.
• Games will be played separately in men’s and women’s categories.
• A game will be won by the player first scoring 11 points unless both players score 10 points. In such a case, the game will be won by the first player subsequently gaining a lead of 2 points.
• If a player is not present at his/her table the start of the game, s/he will be called.
• Forfeit time is 15 minutes after the player has been called.
• The player failing to report ready-to-play within 15 minutes after the call will forfeit to his/her opponent.
