Videos and Presentations of the EIC Pathfinder Challenges 2026 Call Information Day Have Been Published!
Dear Faculty Members and Researchers,
The European Innovation Council (EIC) is one of Europe’s most important innovation support programs, designed to discover, develop, and ultimately scale deeptech and breakthrough innovations by bringing them to market through its grant and investment components.
The EIC provides support exclusively to Deep Tech–focused projects. Deep technology refers to technology based on current scientific developments and discoveries, which requires continuous interaction with new ideas and laboratory results in order to remain at the forefront of technological advancement.
The EIC has five main funding instruments, each addressing different Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs). These programs include open calls without thematic restrictions (EIC Pathfinder Open) as well as calls in specific strategic priority areas (EIC Pathfinder Challenges).
