“Women in Finance” Panel Organized by CFA Society of Istanbul

CFA Society of Istanbul organized a panel discussion under the theme of “Women in Finance” at the Garanti BBVA Headquarters on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. The panel discussion brought together successful women executives to tell their career stories and share their personal experiences with the participants.

The panel put a spotlight on women’s advantages and challenges  in the business world. The panelists shared the turning points in their careers and their aftermath with the audience.

The event commenced with the opening remarks by Ms. İlke Homriş, Executive Director at CFA Society of Istanbul, and was moderated by Mr. Alper Alkan from CFA Istanbul. The panel featured our Rector Prof. Dr. Esra Gençtürk, Ms. Ebru Dildar Edin, Executive Vice President at Garanti BBVA, Ms. Banuhan Yürükoğlu,  Chief Financial Officer at AKİŞ GYO, and Ms. Şebnem Ünlü, Member of the Board of Directors at ÜNLÜ & Co, as invited speakers.
